Our tool shop was founded back in 1983, when private practice in Serbia was still in its infancy. The decades-long entrepreneurial tradition of the famous Valjevo family directed Dragiša Rašević to the bold endeavor of opening a machine tool shop at that time. His basic desire was to produce high-quality products, which had not been available in the country until then. From the beginning of the business, the Drap family tool shop developed rapidly, working in cooperation with the giants of the machine industry in these parts of Serbia (Krušik, Krušik plastika Osečina, Fabrika vijaka Gradac, Trudbenik), which opened the door to our products throughout Europe. For more than 25 years, we have been functioning as a reliable associate of German, Greek, Russian and Italian companies. Volkswagen, Bosch, Conexa are just some of the companies we work with. Arrival of the second generation in the managment has contributed to the modernization of the production process, the introduction of newer machines and methods of work.
The main activity of Drap is the production of tools for injection moulding of thermoplastics, thermosets and silicone rubbers, tools for blowing plastics, die casting of steel castings, and alloys of aluminium and zinc, as well as tools for cold sheet metal deformation. We produce our tools in medium or small series, thus striving to meet high-quality requirements. The tools and special tools we make are used in the automotive, computer, metalworking, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries.
